How does flat pricing work?
Every paid tier is a single flat monthly fee per company — no per-user tax. Starter is $29/mo whether you have 5 or 500 users. Business is $99/mo flat. Enterprise is $299/mo flat. By contrast, MaintainX and Limble charge per user per month on their paid plans.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees from us: Core is $0 forever, and paid tiers are transparent flat monthly rates — no setup fees, no per-seat charges, no surprise upgrades. Prices are shown excluding tax; applicable VAT/sales tax is added transparently at checkout by our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy).

Can I deploy FreeMaint on my own servers?
Not at the moment — on-premise deployments are paused. Supporting a self-hosted environment we cannot see needs more hands-on involvement than we can currently give it, so we would rather say so than sell an installation we would serve badly. It is a pause, not a closure: if you have a hard requirement such as an air-gapped network or a data-sovereignty mandate, contact us and we will add you to the waitlist. In the meantime the cloud version is the same software, hosted in the EU (France), encrypted in transit and at rest, with daily backups.
How does FreeMaint compare to UpKeep pricing?
UpKeep has no free plan (only a 7-day trial) and charges per user per month, so the bill grows with every technician you add. FreeMaint Core is $0 with unlimited users, and FreeMee AI is included on every plan, Core too. Paid tiers stay flat per company: Business is $99/mo whatever the team size.
