Document Management

The Documents module centralizes all technical documents: SOPs, manuals, certificates, datasheets, and more. Each document supports multiple versions and expiration alerts.

Viewing documents

Open PDFs, images and text files directly in the app — no need to download them first. Click the View (eye) icon on any document. Office files (Word, Excel) still download to open on your device.

Photos show as thumbnails

Image files — progress photos, damage shots, nameplate pictures — appear as a thumbnail grid at the top of the Documents tab, above the list of other files. The name you gave the file at upload is shown underneath as its caption, so a set of photos stays labelled and in order. Click a thumbnail to open it full-size in the in-app viewer. This works on every record that has a Documents tab: assets, work orders, parts, locations, preventive maintenance schedules and projects.
