Common CSV import problems.
Requirements
- UTF-8
- Comma-delimited
- Headers from template
- Dates: YYYY-MM-DD
- Empty not N/A
Errors
Invalid format
Use template. Save as CSV UTF-8.
Skipped rows
Check errors: duplicates, missing fields, bad references.
Corrupted characters
UTF-8 encoding. Excel: CSV UTF-8.
Timeout
Split into smaller batches โ 2,000 to 5,000 rows imports comfortably. Maximum 8,000 rows per file.
