Downtime Tracking

Track when assets go down, for how long, and why.

Recording Downtime

1. Open the asset and click its coloured status badge
2. Set it to Down: a downtime period starts now
3. Set it back to Operational when it runs again: the period closes
4. To log a past stop, or to add a reason and a cost, open the work order → Machine downtime tab → Record downtime
5. Enter the start, the end (leave it empty while the asset is still down), the reason and an optional cost
6. Downtime feeds availability, MTBF and MTTR
