If maintenance > 50% of replacement cost, plan for replacement.
Tip
On this report, MTTR is the average length of closed downtime periods, and MTBF and availability cover each asset's whole history: the date range filters costs only. An asset appears from its third recorded stop. The Analytics page computes MTTR differently, from labor hours on completed corrective work orders within the selected period.
Cost by category
The asset analytics page breaks maintenance cost down by your own asset categories, with a toggle to switch to asset class instead. Assets you have not categorised are shown in their own bucket rather than hidden, so the figures always add up.
