On-Premise

On-Premise lets you run FreeMaint inside your own data center or private cloud. New on-premise deployments are currently paused while we focus on our cloud offering — existing deployments remain fully supported. No per-user counter, no asset cap.

When On-Premise makes sense

• Compliance: HIPAA, ITAR, defense-grade or GDPR-strict environments where data must never leave your premises
• Air-gapped: factories or sites with no internet connection
• Data sovereignty: contractual requirement to host within a specific country
• Customization: you need root access to modify modules or integrations

Technical setup

Ships as a Docker Compose stack with PostgreSQL, Redis, MinIO and the full FreeMaint backend + frontend. Caddy handles HTTPS automatically. Watchtower auto-updates patches. License is verified offline via an Ed25519-signed file (no callback to FreeMaint servers needed).

Support

Includes installer scripts, runbook documentation and email support. Major version upgrades are tested and packaged before release.
