Megger test of a motor winding: isolate and discharge, disconnect drives, choose the test voltage, measure phase-to-earth for 1 minute, correct for temperature, compare with the trend and acceptance limits, then restore.

Replace the filters of an air handling unit: record the pressure drop, isolate the fan, fit new filters of the same class in the right direction, check for bypass gaps, restart, record the new pressure drop and dispose of old filters.

Check and correct pump-to-motor shaft alignment: isolate, remove the coupling guard, correct soft foot, align roughly then precisely with dial indicators or laser, tighten the feet in sequence, record, refit the guard and check vibration.

Regrease the bearings of an electric motor: check grease type and quantity on the nameplate, clean the nipple, open the drain, grease without overfilling, run to expel the excess, close the drain and record.
