Add equipment to your asset registry

Register Your First Asseten

Assets are the equipment your team maintains. Registering them enables maintenance history tracking, PM scheduling, and cost analysis.

Adding an Asset

  1. Navigate to Assets from the sidebar
  2. Click 'Add Asset'
  3. Enter the asset name
  4. Select category (Production, HVAC, Electrical, etc.)
  5. Assign to a location
  6. Fill in model, serial number, manufacturer
  7. Add financial info: acquisition cost, purchase date, warranty
  8. Upload photos and documents
  9. Click 'Save'

Key Fields

  • Name & Description โ€” Clear identification
  • Category โ€” For filtering and reporting
  • Location โ€” Physical installation location
  • Status โ€” OPERATIONAL, DEGRADED, DOWN, MAINTENANCE, STANDBY, RETIRED
  • Acquisition Cost & Purchase Date โ€” Financial tracking
  • Warranty Expiration โ€” Alert when coverage ends

Tip

For equipment with sub-components, use parent-child hierarchy. Set main equipment as parent.
