Work orders describe what needs to be done, who does it, what parts are needed, and track time and costs.

Creating a Work Order

  1. Navigate to Work Orders
  2. Click 'Create Work Order'
  3. Enter a clear title (e.g., 'Replace belt on Conveyor #3')
  4. Set priority: LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH, URGENT, or CRITICAL
  5. Select asset and location
  6. Choose category: Preventive, Corrective, Emergency, or Inspection
  7. Assign to a technician or team
  8. Set a due date
  9. Add description, tasks, and attachments
  10. Click 'Submit'

Work Order Statuses

OPEN

Created, not yet started

IN_PROGRESS

Technician working

ON_HOLD

Paused, waiting for parts or approval

COMPLETED

Done, pending validation

VALIDATED

Manager approved

CLOSED

Fully resolved

CANCELLED

Cancelled
