Wallboards (TV/screen display)

Generate a revocable read-only link that displays your active work orders and incoming requests on any TV or computer screen in the maintenance area. No account, no login — just open the URL in the browser. Available on the Business tier.

The board shows work orders that are open, scheduled, in progress or on hold — paused ones carry an "On Hold" label. Completed, closed, cancelled and deleted work orders drop off the board automatically.

When a column holds more cards than fit on the screen, its footer reads "+N more". On a phone, tablet or computer, click it to open the whole column as a scrolling list (up to 200 cards). On a TV nothing changes.

Choosing what the board shows

Under Settings → Wallboards → Columns, pick which columns appear and in which order. Each column is an independent filter, so the same work order can appear in several of them — a critical job that is also late shows under both Urgent and Overdue. You can give any column your own heading.

• Incoming requests — requests waiting to be reviewed.
• Active work orders — every open, scheduled, in-progress or paused job.
• Urgent / Critical — critical work orders and emergency requests together, so nothing urgent falls off the board even if you hide the requests column.
• Overdue — work orders past their due date. A job due today is not yet overdue.
• Upcoming preventive maintenance — preventive plans falling due inside a window you choose (7 days by default, up to 90). Paused plans are left out.

Setting up a wallboard

1. Open Company Settings → Wallboards
2. Click "Generate link", enter a name (e.g. "Production floor TV")
3. Copy the URL or scan the QR code shown — this is your only chance
4. Paste the URL in the TV browser and pin/bookmark the tab
5. The view auto-refreshes every 30 seconds

Security & privacy

• The wallboard is strictly read-only — no actions can be triggered from the public URL.
• By default, no personal data reaches the public page. An administrator can opt in to showing the requester and the assigned technician (Settings → Wallboards → Names on the cards); email addresses, phone numbers, costs and internal notes are never shown either way.
• Revoke a link anytime from Settings → Wallboards. The public URL stops working immediately.
• Each company is limited to 5 active wallboards; revoke an old one to create a new one.
• Each access is logged (timestamp + counter) for audit.
